  • Back in the summer, Netflix launched user profiles, finally giving users the ability to separate their queues (which became known as the “My List” feature) from those of other family members. No longer would Dad have to keep his ABC’s of Death and Screwballs II: Loose Screws next to Junior’s Thomas & Friends on one list.

The feature initially launched for the website, iPad, iPhone, Xbox 360, Apple TV and some smart TVs and Blu-ray players. Eventually it made it to other devices like the Wii, but it hasn’t been available on one major platform – Android. That is until now.

When the feature launched, Netflix explained that it the resources the company had on its Profiles team were the reason for the delay of an Android release, along with changes that were expected to come to Android.

Now, over four months later, the Netflix Android app has an update, and it includes user profiles. It’s now available in the Google Play store.

The update also includes some bug fixes and enhanced search with support for people and related titles.
