Nathan Lane, who is perhaps best known for his stage talents, will be joining the cast of “The Good Wife” as a new manager brought in to help the firm get their financial ducks in a row.
Lane has been hard at work on Broadway in “The Producers”, but will take a step away from his usual high-energy, affable self in order to play something of a bad guy on the show, which begins its fourth season in September. His strong personality will no doubt not be well received by the people at Lockhart & Gardner, which will make for some good drama next season.
Lane joins Kristen Chenoweth and Maura TIerney, who will all have recurring roles on the show’s new season.
One last exciting bit of casting news for the day: Welcome to TGW, Nathan Lane!!! And now we rest. Too many exclamation points for one day.
