‘Murdered: Soul Suspect’ Coming to PS4, Xbox One

One year ago, on the eve of the PlayStation 4 announcement, Square Enix revealed Murdered: Souls Suspect. The game’s first teaser trailer promised a type of supernatural detective work that hasn’t yet been seen in video games.

Since that time, though, only a few details have emerged about Murdered: Soul Suspect. Players will take on the role of Ronan O’Connor, a detective shot down in his prime. As Ronan’s ghost, players will pass through walls and possess other characters to lear more about Ronan’s murder and help catch the murderer.

Murdered: Soul Suspect had already been announced for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Today Square Enix officially (but unsurprisingly) announced that the game will also be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The publisher promises that these version of the game will have better visuals, including many of the graphical upgrades seen in the recent Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Square Enix also promised that the game will run at a native 1080p resolution on both consoles, though it did not reveal whether the Xbox One version of the game will run at lower framerates.

A new trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect was also released today. It previews a bit more of the game’s story and introduces a new key character:
