Facebook announced that mobile referrals are now available in App Insights. The company launched a mobile referrals dashboard this week, aimed at helping developers understand the traffic their apps are getting.
“Use this information to continue optimizing distribution via our mobile social channels,” suggests Facebook’s Greg Schechter.
You can see real-time info about total mobile app clicks, source breakdown (feed, timeline, notification, bookmark, search, unknown), device breakdown and demographic breakdown.
The features are available from the main Insights dashboard, and are also accessible from App Settings.
This should help in Facebook’s efforts to improve its mobile ecosystem. Facebook’s mobile users are up to 432 million by the most recent count.
