Miranda Lambert made headlines over the weekend when someone discovered she’s following Gwen Stefani–who is, of course, dating Lambert’s ex-husband Blake Shelton–on Twitter. But this week the headlines are a bit different: Miranda is reportedly dating someone new.

According to a source at Entertainment Tonight, Miranda is dating 27-year old fellow singer Anderson East, and the relationship is new.

“It’s fairly new. They started seeing each other less than two months ago. They are just having fun and seeing where it goes,” the source said.

Lambert hasn’t been publicly connected to anyone since her split from Shelton earlier this year. The former couple had to endure several jokes at their expense at a recent awards show, but Lambert seems to be taking it all in stride. The fact that she’s following Gwen Stefani on Twitter has had people talking, however, as many see it as a way to keep her enemy closer.

Both Lambert and East are featured on this year’s tribute album Southern Family, but it’s unclear whether that’s how they met.

Sources close to Anderson East say he’s the “complete opposite” of Blake Shelton and that he and Miranda are planning to spend New Year’s Eve together.

“She couldn’t have picked a better dude to have fun with. Anderson is the coolest guy,” a friend of East’s told Us Weekly.

Recently, Lambert opened up about her divorce, saying that she’s had quite a few bad nights since the divorce.

“I just want to live a life full of everything. Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey and going, ‘Man this sucks right now.’ I don’t necessarily want to know that I have really bad, long, lonely nights ahead of me, but I have had some, and I still have a bunch ahead of me,” Miranda Lambert said.
