  • Mindy Kaling has signed with a new agency, CAA.

The actress has been without an agency since last year, but has been managed by 3 Arts and legally represented by Ziffren Brittenham’s P.J. Shapiro.

Mindy Kaling‘s career has been steady since her debut on The Office as Kelly Kapoor.

Mindy Kaling then joined the writing team for the show when she was just 24 years old.

Mindy Kaling honed her writing skills and earned six Emmy nominations for her work on the show.

She garnered particular praise for some amazing writing she shared with showrunner Greg Daniels for the 2009 wedding episode, “Niagara.”

Mindy Kaling’s humor comes across in her writing, and her recognition from The Office helped her land her own show, The Mindy Project.

She is a showrunner for the show, which is about her as a doctor trying to balance career and love life in New York City.

Mindy Kaling’s show, The Mindy Project, debuted in 2012 to critical acclaim, but hasn’t yet managed to pull itself out of a low ratings slump and is constantly on the verge of cancellation.

Mindy Kaling is a star on TV, but she is no stranger to the big screen.

She has held roles in This Is the End, The Five-Year Engagement, No Strings Attached and The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

Mindy Kaling is also the hilarous voice of Disgust in Pixar’s upcoming and highly-anticipated new movie, Inside Out.

It will be interesting to see what turns Mindy Kaling’s career might take with CAA.

What do you think about Mindy Kaling’s work so far? Are you looking forward to seeing more of it?
