Microsoft is adding an important feature in an update to Teams, giving presenters the ability to share control of slides.

Teams is one of the industry’s leading application for business chat and communication, long since surpassing Slack and increasing challenging Zoom for the top spot. Much like its rivals, Teams offers videoconferencing options, but it has had a noticeable omission: the ability to have multiple users share control over slides.

In a recent Microsoft 365 Roadmap update, the company announced it is finally bringing this feature to Teams.

Meeting or event presenters can now share control of slides with fellow presenters eliminating manual slide changes and maintaining a smooth flow during meetings or webinars.

The addition should make it much easier for presenters to control their presentations, and brings Teams one step closer to parity with its rivals.
