“Against her better judgment,” Megan Fox has taken the plunge into the sometimes rough but always rewarding world of Twitter. This comes on the heels of a death hoax which saw the Twitterverse kill off the 26-year-old actress with a global trend.

Fox, who describes herself as a “lover, healer, and mother” in her bio, has yet to follow anyone but has already amassed over 50,000 followers in just 18 hours.

She’s sent out two tweets so far; one proclaiming that she’s late to the party and one discussing watching A Bug’s Life.

Fox is already incredibly popular on Facebook, where she’s a fairly active poster. There, she has garnered just shy of 40 million likes. She announced her foray into the Twitterverse last night, pointing fans to the @MeganFox516 handle. That account has since been deleted, and Twitter has set her up with her own verified @MeganFox handle.
