Marco Rubio wants your snaps.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio is going to announce he’s running for President at around 5:30 pm ET today, if his Twitter feed is to be believed (we already know he’s running, this is just a formality). He’s been counting down to the announcement since last week, with things intensifying on Monday. He’s using the hashtag #newamericancentury, which will apparently be his first campaign slogan.

And in the middle of all those countdown tweets, Rubio has let everyone know that he’s now on Snapchat, and he’d love an add.

Social media is more important to a politician’s prospects than it’s even been, and Marco Rubio asking for Snapchat friends on the day of his big announcement should hammer that point home.

Naturally, everyone’s just worried about dick pics.
