Lisa Bonet has still not spoken up about Bill Cosby. But her daughter has dropped a few clues of her own.
Lisa Bonet co-starred with Bill Cosby in The Cosby Show, of course. Last year there was a brief disturbance in the tabloid Force when a tweet purporting to be from Lisa Bonet hit the Interwebs.
“According to the karma of past actions,” the mystery tweet read, “one’s destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky. Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!”
Many took that as a veiled statement from Bonet about Cosby. No such luck.
“Lisa Bonet has no social media of any kind,” Lisa Bonet’s manager said in a statement. “Any posts made in her name were made by impersonators with unverified accounts. She also has no comment on the ongoing story.”
And she’s still not talking. When Zoe Kravitz, daughter of Lisa Bonet and ex-husband Lenny Kravitz, was interviewed by The Guardian this week, she was asked if her mom had spoken about the Cosby scandal.
When will Phylicia Rashad, Lisa Bonet, Tempest Blesdoe et al come forward with what they know, suspected, or god forbid, experienced?

“She hasn’t, she really hasn’t. She’d plead the fifth, even to me. I think she’s just staying out of it,” Zoe Kravitz said.
Of course, Lisa Bonet hasn’t been living under a rock. She does have an opinion.
“She’s just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is, but I don’t think she has any insight,” Zoe Kravitz continued. “It’s news to her as well.”
You mean, Cosby never made overtures toward sexy Lisa Bonet?
“She was on the show for a long time,” Zoe Kravitz says of Bonet. “She’s also a beautiful woman. It makes people wonder.”
But if Lisa Bonet had anything to reveal, Zoe is sure she would not hesitate to do so.
“She’s a very straightforward person. If there was something she felt the world needed to know that would help this case or help any women who had been abused, she would say something.”
Tempestt Bledsoe, Lisa Bonet, & Sabrina Le Beauf have had plenty of opportunities to comment. They have chosen not to, as is their right.
