In 2009, actor Liam Neeson lost the love of his life in a tragic accident. His wife, Natasha Richardson, died after a skiing accident.
But Neeson has great memories, of course. And one he shared recently about his wedding is just the sweetest.
Apparently, Neeson and Richardson’s wedding song was Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love”.
And Richardson made sure it was extra special – by learning the song and serenading him.
“Behind my back Natasha had been taking singing lessons to sing it to me,” he said on the show My Favorite Song with John Benjamin Hickey on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM channel. “After the ceremony we were all going out to start the night’s festivities and she grabbed the microphone and she sang me this. She had learned it and I was like ‘Wow!'”

In March of 2009, Richardson fell and hit her head while taking skiing lessons in Quebec. In the classic presentation of what is known as “talk-and-die” syndrome, Richardson was lucid for a few hours, before complaining of a headache. By seven hours after the initial fall, she was in critical condition. She died less than two days after the fall at the age of 45.
