Last month, we (WebProNews) released the news that Glee star Lea Michele would be releasing a new album, including some tracks dedicated to the late Cory Monteith. Today (Tuesday, December 10th, 2013), we get a glimpse into one of the tracks of her new album “Louder” which releases in May. The single track Michele releases to the world today is titled “Cannonball.”
According to MTV and her tweet below, Michele unveils her first single off of her “Louder” album today titled “Cannonball.” The song does not have the “usual” Broadway sound, which Michele is known for on Glee, but it has a hard-driven piano pop sound, which MTV calls “reaffirming her newfound inner strength.”
Michele did not accomplish the powerful ballad on her own, but she did receive help from other well-known music superstars, such as: Sia, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Britney Spears, according to MTV. When listening to the track, you do somewhat hear their signature sounds within the musicality of “Cannonball.”
Late last night (Monday, December 9th, 2013), Michele tweeted the announcement of the release of her single for download on her Twitter account, showing the song’s availability on iTunes.
