  • Lauren Graham had every Gilmore Girls super fan losing their collective mind on Monday as rumors spread about a possible Netflix revival of the incredibly popular sitcom.

The project, which was rumored to have consisted of four 90-minute episodes, was widely anticipated and Lauren Graham didn’t help things by tweeting, “DUDES. I can’t confirm this. But I also can’t deny this…”

    Well, is it true?

    Still don’t know.

But, what we do know is that even if it’s a false rumor, Lauren Graham still has a great new project in the works.

Lorelai fans rejoice! Lauren Graham is far from done.

Lauren Graham is reportedly teaming up with the phenomenal voice actress, Mae Whitman, to make an adaptation of Jessica Morgan and Heather Cocks’ The Royal We.

Yay! Lauren Graham and Royals in one package.

Lauren Graham will be writing the script and it will be produced by both Lauren Graham and Mae Whitman.

The story will follow the real-life courtship of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The similarities abound with a red-headed precocious younger brother on the prince’s side and sister on the side of the young lady.

The Amazon.com synopsis for the book reads, “American Rebecca Porter was never one for fairy tales. Her twin sister, Lacey, has always been the romantic who fantasized about glamour and royalty, fame and fortune. Yet it’s Bex who seeks adventure at Oxford and finds herself living down the hall from Prince Nicholas, Great Britain’s future king.”

It goes on, “And when Bex can’t resist falling for Nick, the person behind the prince, it propels her into a world she did not expect to inhabit, under a spotlight she is not prepared to face.”

Sounds like an awesome project for Lauren Graham! What do you think? Are you excited to check out her script-writing chops?
