  • Kirsten Dunst experienced an epic fail on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon this week. During a game the two played–Catchphrase–she couldn’t quite place a person she was asked to identify.

It was Jimmy Fallon and Kirsten Dunst against Will Smith and Tariq from The Roots. Fallon and Dunst did well on topics including “Beatbox,” “North Pole,” and “Can of Whoop Ass.”

When the newest member of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family came up, however, Kirsten Dunst was stumped.

    “Saint West,” was her catchphrase.

“What is that?” Kirsten Dunst asked, looking genuinely perplexed.

It seemed to please the audience to no end that the actress had no clue about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s new baby. They cheered as she cast the card aside and drew another in order to proceed with the game.

Given the hype over Saint West’s birth earlier this month, one might expect everyone would recognize the name–especially those Hollywood A-listers, who no doubt try to keep up with the Joneses–or Keep Up With the Kardashians, as the case may be, to remain a part of trendy society.

Kirsten Dunst’s lack of knowledge about Saint West was actually quite refreshing. It was proof positive that Hollywood hype hasn’t permeated the pores of everyone within reasonable proximity of the city.

Were you aware that Saint West is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s new baby, or were you like Kirsten Dunst–clueless as to what or whom her Catchphrase card was referring?
