Kristen Chenoweth, everyone’s favorite perky blonde actress, was seriously injured on the set of “The Good Wife”, and while news spread that she’d gotten hurt, no one really knew the extent of the damage…until now.

Chenoweth appeared on “Live! With Kelly And Michael” this morning–her first appearance on television since the accident–and talked about what happened.

“Basically a big lighting thing fell and hit me. [It] knocked me out, knocked my face and slammed me down to the ground. The back of my head got hit on the curb,” she said. “I had a skull fracture, rib issue and neck issue and a hip issue. I’m issue-ridden, but I’m getting better.”

Chenoweth was extremely lucky, and acknowledged as much on the show. For now, she’s wearing a neck brace, but she said she’s on the road to recovery. However, the skull fracture definitely did a number on her basic motor functions and speech.

“I couldn’t really form a sentence after it happened,” she said.

Chenoweth is scheduled to appear in the season premiere of the show on September 30th.
