Kristen Bell, the beautiful blonde actress of Veronica Mars fame, has been quick to divulge details about her relatively-new motherhood status. While attending the January 17th Critics’ Choice Awards located in Santa Monica, the popular actress even described her look in terms of her position as a mother. “It’s a little wild for me, but I’m kind of excited about it. I thought maybe, ‘Unexpected New Mom’ would be the title of the look,” she said.

Bell recently revealed not-so-intimate details about filming sexually-oriented scenes for her Showtime series House of Lies. During the show, viewers glimpsed romantic interludes between Kristen Bell and her character’s boyfriend portrayed by costar Adam Brody. Bell was seven months pregnant at the time with her unborn daughter (Lincoln) during those scenes. In an interview with Conan O’Brien on the Conan show, Bell shared, “And now I can forever look at my daughter and say, ‘Oh, you were pregnant for that!”

The 33-year-old actress explained how she adapted to filming while pregnant. “I was very, very pregnant. That was kind of a big deal because it’s a dark comedy but also a very sexy show. We make a lot of jokes about sex, there’s sexual storylines. I delivered two weeks after we wrapped and there was a storyline in the second season where I, my character at work has a sex tape come out and she brings it into work and shows everybody. She’s thinking, ‘Let’s just get it over with.’ She’s embarrassed because no one cares,” Bell said.

Bell is not alone in finding irony in the situation. According to the talented actress of Disney’s new animated film, Frozen, costars were also eager to joke about the innuendos involved in shooting sexual scenes centered around a pregnant actress. Bell explained that Adam Brody “affectionately refers to our sex scenes as our threesomes because my belly was just on top.”

Bell, being a practical mother, spoke about her potential future understanding of her daughter’s own romantic life. “My guess is if she is like the other 5 billion people on the planet, she’s going to grow up and enjoy sex. I’m not going to be shocked by that,” Bell said.
