Khloe Kardashian hasn’t exactly had the easiest life since October, when she ran to Lamar Odom’s side after his almost-fatal overdose.
In fact, back in those days, Khloe Kardashian admitted that she didn’t take great care of herself.
Khloe Kardashian said, “Normally, when I’m going through stuff, I have my release of energy or stress at the gym. But, I literally didn’t leave the room for a month. I wasn’t sleeping as well. I went a week without showering.”
She added, “I was stuck in a room with my thoughts. My mind didn’t have that release. I was like, ‘I can’t breathe!'”
Well, it seems since all the drama with Lamar has abated somewhat, Khloe Kardashian is back on the right track. She’s back in the gym and doing all the right things that helped her lose a whopping 40 pounds.
Khloe Kardashian looks great and, more importantly, she feels better.
Khloe Kardashian was kind enough to share some of the tips that helped her out. Of course, she said to drink lots of water and not to completely deprive yourself (like, have one piece of cake at the party. Not two.).
But, another helpful tip Khloe Kardashian shared was to have healthy snacks on hand and ready to be eaten. Already washed and chopped veggies or fresh fruit would be much more appealing if all the work was already done.
She said, “I always have healthy items available to me when I’m hungry, so it’s available quickly. I’d rather eat a cookie than cut up vegetables, but now I don’t have an excuse.”
Khloe Kardashian also said that she always has a post-workout snack on hand so that she doesn’t get hangry after her time at the gym.
She said, “I always have fruit around. And I have a protein shake on the car ride home from the gym. Otherwise I get cranky!”
