Kerry Trainor is leaving AOL.

It seems like a whole lot of the news related to AOL these days is about people leaving the company. We recently reported on some prominent departures from the company’s TechCrunch property (only the most recent in a slew of such departures). The company’s Engadget property lost its editorial director as well (some its prominent staff had also left in the last year or so as well).

Now, Kara Swisher is reporting that AOL has just lost the SVP of entertainment for the company’s Huffington Post Media Group (which oversees all of the site’s content business). Here’s a quick look at Trainor’s professional past:

AOL is also rumored to be planning the layoffs of hundreds of employees next week. Some of the job cuts are expected in its hyperlocal content Patch division.

AOL’s biggest shareholder has been expressing discontent with the company’s board and media business, but AOL maintains that its current board is doing just fine. You can see some back and forth on that here.
