Kendall Jenner, along with pals Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, started an early New Year’s celebration in Dubai this weekend. The ladies boarded a plane in L.A. that flew them straight through the night to Dubai, where the celebration will likely last for several days.

Gigi Hadid’s boyfriend Cody Simpson is planning on hanging out with the ladies in Dubai as well. He, too, was spotted at LAX with his luggage in tow.

Selena Gomez shared word of the New Year’s trip via Instagram this past weekend.

She captioned her post, “Plane rides tho… #emirates.”

It will be interesting to see when Kendall Jenner returns to the states, and if the Keeping Up With the Kardashians momager, Kris Jenner, has anything planned for her daughter for the New Year. Even though Kendall has tried to break out on her own, it still seems like Kris has other ideas most of the time.

The tabloids have convinced readers that Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez can barely stand each other, and that Kendall cheated with Selena’s former boyfriend Justin Bieber. Neither of these statements is true, however. Otherwise, why would they fly all the way to Dubai together for a New Year’s celebration? That simply doesn’t make any sense.

Hopefully Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Cody Simpson, and whomever else hangs with the gang in Dubai have a wonderful early New Year’s celebration. They will no doubt carry it over from one continent to the next when they return to the United States.
