Here is a sight you may not have thought you would ever see … former Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel making out!
Yes, the two actresses will have their fair share of kissing scenes in their newest movie Jenny’s Wedding.
In the film, Heigle and Bledel play lesbian lovers. They want to get married, but receive harsh criticism from Jenny’s (Heigle) family, who are very conservative.
Despite Heigl’s love for the film, there is one thing that is standing in her way … funding. The filmmakers are still in need of $150,000 to finish production of the film.
To help with costs, Heigl has set up an Indiegogo fundraising campaign. So far the fundraiser has reached a total of $16,823, a far cry from the total they are hoping for. Thankfully, the fundraiser still has 40 days left to, hopefully, raise the rest of the funds.
Made independently, this film is the kind of movie the studios used to make all the time. It is about real people, the problems they face, and the personal courage it takes to resolve them. It is also about transformation and love.
Both moving and funny, it has an important message to send, and our goal is to ensure it reaches a wide audience.
Filmmakers are offering incentives to fans who make donations to their cause. For example, if you donate $75 you will receive a signed screenplay from the films writer/director Mary Agnes Donoghue. If you donate a larger sum, let’s say $15,000, you will receive the actual wedding dress that Heigl wears in the film. To see all of the incentives, click here.
“Jenny’s Wedding is a movie I’m so proud to be a part of,” Heigl tweeted on Wednesday. “Love the story and the characters. Hope you will too!”

“The producers are just as passionate about @jennys_wedding as I am, but need your help to make it happen,” Heigl also tweeted.
