Julia Roberts isn’t like many female celebrities in Hollywood.

The famed August: Osage County actress recently revealed she’s never gone under the knife for cosmetic surgery.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, the Golden Globe Award-winning actress, and new the face of Lancôme, recently chatted with You magazine. She admitted she prefers to age naturally as opposed to undergoing plastic surgery.

“By Hollywood standards, I guess I’ve already taken a big risk in not having had a facelift, but I’ve told Lancôme that I want to be an ageing model – so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I’m over 50,” Roberts told the publication.

The 46-year-old actress also revealed what she does to reduce stress. Surprisingly, she enjoys yoga and domestic projects that enable her to stay organized!

“It’s about non-grasping, non-hoarding, cleaning out your closet, dusting out your mind and letting go of the things that weigh you down mentally and emotionally,” she said. “There’s a lightness to my life now – an airy quality of not taking things too seriously. That’s happiness.”

Roberts went on to discuss other aspects of “happiness” in her life. Believe it or not, the glamorous Hollywood actress isn’t so glamorous when she’s just lounging around at home!

“Mornings are a high-humor scene. You just have to make sure everyone looks and smells clean,” she said. “That’s all that matters. If I actually manage to get my teeth brushed and lip balm on, I’m good.”

She revealed she often reflects on her reality “versus a mother who, say, lives in Kansas City and is struggling to pick up the kids when she gets off work, or who doesn’t get to choose not to go to work because she wants to stay at home with the kids.”

The Eat Pray Love actress personally thinks those women are “real-life heroes.”
