Joey and Rory Feek shared a throwback video clip on their Facebook page on Saturday. The clip showed the country/bluegrass duo dancing in their barn on New Year’s Eve. These days Joey + Rory are praying for Joey to see this coming New Year’s Eve.
Joey Feek has suffered from cancer since 2014. In October she stopped her chemotherapy treatments and went home with hospice care.
We had a 1940's themed New Years Eve last year in our barn. I dusted off my old uniform and my bride and I cut a rug to some big band music. Hoping for a long sweet slow dance this year.

“We had a 1940’s themed New Year’s Eve last year in our barn,” Rory wrote in the video clip’s caption. “I dusted off my old uniform and my bride and I cut a rug to some bug band music. Hoping for a long sweet slow dance this year.”
Joey and Rory Feek pray for a miracle daily, and Joey prays for some goals she wants to live long enough to meet. She wants to live to see their new album released. It comes out on Valentine’s Day. The next day–February 15–is the day the Grammy Awards air. Joey and Rory received their first Grammy Award nomination just a couple of weeks ago.

Family members, friends, and fans are praying daily for Joey and Rory–that they get their dance this coming New Year’s Eve, and that Joey lives to see those milestones in February. Rory Feek has blogged about their journey together in This Life I Live.
