Due to a comedic injury, Jimmy Fallon had to call in a sub to finish his Tonight Show monologue.
Fallon pulled a hammy on a joke about President Obama and Bernie Sanders, and asked if anyone could tag in for him – as the show must go on.
Thankfully, someone with a bit of monologue experience was there to help.

Leno’s last time on the stage was for a guest monologue back in November. How do you think he did? Pretty classic Leno, whether that’s good or bad in your opinion.
Other than the joy Leno must get from returning to the show he captained for so many years, the comic was there to promote his new CNBC show, Jay Leno’s Garage.
