Jessica Jones now has her closest friend, Patricia “Trish” Walker (also known as Hellcat), cast in the new Netflix series, A.K.A Jessica Jones.

The lucky lady taking on the role is Grey’s Anatomy‘s Rachael Taylor.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones is a former superhero that is trying to rebuild her life and career as a detective.

She helps people with super powers solve cases in New York City.

Trish is a syndicated radio talk show host, a former model and a child TV star. She is more commonly known as “Patsy” Walker.

She helps Jessica Jones solve the most dangerous case of her career as a detective.

Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), David Tennant (Kilgrave), and Mike Colter (Luke Cage), are also on board for A.K.A. Jessica Jones.

The show was developed by Executive Producer Melissa Rosenberg of Dexter fame.

She said of Rachael Taylor, “The character is a star and a powerhouse, and required an actress who is both. Rachael is all that and more!”

Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer of A.K.A. Jessica Jones and Marvel’s Head of Television, said, “Rachael’s ability to embody a character that must balance both the darker and lighter elements of our series will provide a perfect emotional anchor for Jessica Jones.”

He added, “Rachael blew us away with her grounded, humanizing take on Trish, adding yet another layer to the complex, emotional story we’re telling with this series.”
