  • Jessica Fuchs is a first-year high school science teacher from Washington state who was arrested on Thursday for sexual misconduct with a minor. Even worse than that, Fuchs is accused of pressuring the student she allegedly had sex with to lie to investigators and to his mother, too.

People magazine reports that Jessica Fuchs was placed on administrative leave from Bainbridge High School back in February following some concerning comments she made to an associate principal at the school.

The school’s principal contacted the student’s mother, who said she was suspicious about her son’s involvement with Jessica Fuchs. She had previously found an inappropriate conversation on Snapchat between her son and someone named ‘Jess.’

The boy later confessed to his mother that Jessica Fuchs’ husband had walked in on her performing oral sex on him. He denied ever having intercourse with her, however.

Jessica Fuchs reportedly began deleting text messages from her phone in February in an effort to cover up the illicit relationship.

“Well, protect me as best you can,” she reportedly wrote. “Remember NOTHING COMES OUT EVER! About anything you have been to my house only once. [Lie] like you have NEVER lied before. And try to get your mom to side with you completely and say this was all a misunderstanding! And tell the investigator that!”

The student tried initially to protect Jessica Fuchs, but later admitted to the affair.

The 26-year-old allegedly made a sexually explicit video for the 16-year-old that she titled ‘For my baby.’ Prosecutors reportedly have this in their possession.

Jessica Fuchs was initially being held on $100,000 bail, following an investigation that lasted for two months. That bail has now been decreased to $25,000, and she has been ordered to not make any contact with the student in question.
