  • Jennifer Lawrence made a lot of her fans happy with the new photo she uploaded on her Facebook page.

The new Mockingjay 2 photo shows the 24-year-old in full Katniss Everdeen mode. Armed with her trusty bow and arrow, she appears to be scouting out the area with her fellow District 13 rebels Gale, Finnick and Messalla.

The characters, which are played by Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin and Evan Ross respectively, are also dressed in full battle gear and armed with weapons.

Lawrence captioned the photo with a simple “6.9.15 #‎MockingjayPart2 #‎Unite.”

Fans have deciphered the cryptic message as being the date the film’s first trailer will be released.

Buzz for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 has already started.

Aside from this newest Facebook upload, the American Hustle actress also shared a photo several days ago of the Mockingjay symbol spray painted and hovering over a crumbling statue of President Snow, Panem’s merciless leader who is determined to get rid of Everdeen and the rest of his enemies.

An official website for The Capitol has also been launched to add to the hype. Fans checking out the website were treated to the poster along with a message presumably from the rebels that warned “the Capitol must fall so we may be free.”

The last film promises a resolution to the conflict, with Everdeen and her band of rebels headed to the Capitol to assassinate Snow (who is perfectly portrayed by Donald Sutherland).

But if Mockingjay 2 holds true to the book’s premise, it’s going to be a very rough road ahead for Katniss as she experiences terrible personal losses while leading Panem’s rebellion.

The franchise, which has grossed more than $2 billion worldwide, is slated to wrap up its successful run when the final film is released on November 20.

Along with Lawrence, Hemsworth and Sutherland, stars Elizabeth Banks, Jenna Malone, Julianne Moore Natalie Dormer, Stanley Tucci and Woody Harrelson are also along for the ride.
