Jennifer Lawrence has grown out her adorable pixie haircut into a far more sophisticated bob. She hasn’t been spotted much since award show season and a recent revelation shows a grown up Lawrence and a sexy new style.

Starring in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, Jennifer Lawrence was spotted in New York City in recent days. As she headed to a Good Morning America appearance, PEOPLE magazine caught up with her and asked about the updated ‘do. It seems it wasn’t a completely deliberate action.

“I cut it earlier … and it grew to that awkward, gross length, and I just kept putting it back in a bun, and I said, ‘Well I don’t want to do this,’ so I just cut it off,” she once said of her decision to go for her super-short crop. “It just couldn’t get any uglier.”

Lawrence assured Katniss Everdeen fans that she won’t be sporting the bob in the remaining two Hunger Games films.

“This isn’t how Katniss is going to look in the next movie, don’t worry,” she said. “I’m wearing a wig [in the movies].”

What do you think of Jennifer Lawrence’s sexy new hair style? Do you think it lends itself to the sophisticated young woman the actress has quickly grown into? Much faster than her beautiful hair has grown, Lawrence has endeared herself to fans both with her amazing acting prowess and her sense of self-deprecation that leads everyone to believe she is in fact the real deal.

Lindsay Lohan, however, has several less than kind things to say about Jennifer. She even called the beloved actress “fake.”

Do you think there’s any basis behind Li Lo’s jabs? Surely Lindsay Lohan is singing to the choir with her complaints. Jennifer Lawrence has won the hearts of more fans than Lohan can even dream of. It’s actually kind of sad that she is dissing the Hunger Games star in such a low-handed way.
