Jen Arnold, star of the hit TLC show, The Little Couple, has revealed that she is battling a rare form of cancer. A doctor herself, the neonatologist and her husband, Bill Klein, have two children. They adopted Will, who is 3, from China, and they adopted Zoey, who is 2, from India. She knows she’s in for the battle of a lifetime, but sounds upbeat and positive about the outcome.
“I have recently been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer and am currently undergoing treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy,” she says. “I am very fortunate as the prognosis is good. While there is never a good time to get news like this, getting it just as we are building our new family is tough in many ways … But being surrounded by the love of my husband and our two beautiful children is actually in many ways giving me the strength to fight it even stronger.”
Arnold didn’t specify exactly what kind of cancer she has, nor did she go into explicit detail about her treatments. It certainly sounds like she and her husband are dealing with this scare as best they can, without divulging too much information to their fans.
Arnold shares tidbits of her struggle, as well as her appreciation for her fans, via Twitter.
When Will first saw my PICC line he said, " oh, Mommy, BOO-BOO". I love my little guy! #cancersucks

Despite their lack of sharing specific medical details, Jen Arnold and her husband are planning to share at least some of her cancer struggles on The Little Couple. Hopefully that won’t become too burdensome for them. There is something to be said for privacy during times like this. Maybe they feel sharing their harrowing ordeal will in some way help others facing similar scenarios.
