Iggy Azalea blames Britney Spears for the flop of their song ‘Pretty Girls.’
The blame game was first played on Sunday during a Twitter Q & A that Iggy Azalea hosted. When a fan noted that her 2015 collaboration with Britney Spears “flopped a little bit,” Iggy Azalea’s ire was raised.
The response she sent @rhuancesarr made it quite clear Iggy Azalea blames Britney Spears for the song’s failure.
Her response also fueled Britney Spears’ fans.
@rhuancesarr its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured…

The next day, Iggy Azalea was back, saying she didn’t mean any ‘ill will’ toward Britney Spears.

What are your thoughts on Iggy Azalea blaming Britney Spears for the ‘Pretty Girls’ flop? And unless you don’t understand the English language, it’s abundantly clear that she blamed her.
And incidentally, ‘Pretty Girls’ peaked at number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100.
So did Britney Spears add her two cents worth to Iggy Azalea’s diss?
She did.
Can’t wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to… #YouWantAPieceOfMe

Do you think Iggy Azalea should have blamed Britney Spears? Was one or the other at fault with regard to ‘Pretty Girls’ not becoming a number one or even a top ten hit?
