Back in November 2011 Google announced Google+ Pages, so that businesses and brand could promote themselves and their products via the new social platform. Within a few weeks, Pages had been adopted by 61% of the top 100 brands. But it wasn't and still isn't clear exactly how much importance businesses are placing on Google+.

"Google+ has been around for several months now, but most people are not using the social network to its full potential," is the theme of an new infographic from Chris Brogan and BlueGlass.

According to the infographic, Google+ is part of a good business social strategy because it's indexed by Google and because it has already grown to at least 90 million users (some projections put that number even higher). The graphic also gives businesses tips for maximizing their presence and for interacting with users.

People are still debating the impact of Google+, both at present and in the future. And whether you think Google+ is a ghost town, or it's still being built is a matter of your own personal opinion. If you go by the message presented below, you might want to jump on it as it's growing if you don't want to be left behind.
