Hootsuite announced new integration with Instagram enabling marketers and social media managers to manage multiple Instagram accounts from the dashboard.
“Instagram campaigns can be managed from Hootsuite, making it a game changer for marketers, content creators and social media managers,” the company said in an email.
Users can schedule Instagram content for publication…kind of. You can schedule a post and Hootsuite will notify you and get it ready for you, but you’ll actually have to post it yourself.
It will also let you monitor and engage with Instagram audiences, share access to Instagram accounts across teams in a secure manner, and create team workflows, such as assignments and approvals for Instagram.
Hootsuite says this has been its top-requested feature. It is being rolled out to users throughout Wednesday.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Instagram’s Ads API is now being used by a number of third-party marketing service providers including Salesforce, Hootsuite, Kenshoo, Ampush, Nanigans, SocialCode, Brand Networks, Unified, and 4C.
