Here’s Footage Of The Wildfire Team Reacting To The Google Acquisition
Written by Chris Crum

As previously reported, Google has acquired social media marketing platform company Wildfire. As if it was not interesting enough that Google acquired a company that helps businesses market their brands on Facebook and other social media competitors, the Wildfire team also happens to include Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s sister.

Additionally, Mark’s brother in-law Harry Schmidt, who is married to another of his sisters – Donna – also works as a product strategist at Wildfire.

The Wildfire team certainly seems happy about the acquisition. The company uploaded the following video fo the team’s reaction:

I wonder if they realize how many products Google has shut down (including those it acquired). Either way, for now, it appears that Wildfire will remain in tact. The company said that it will continue to operate as usual. I have to wonder, however, if there might be more of a Google+ focus. As of yesterday, Arielle didn’t even have a Google+ profile. Even Mark has one of those.
