Rockstar Games announced today that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition will be coming to iOS and Android smartphones and tablets on December 6.

The game developer and publisher last month announced that Vice City would be coming to mobile devices with upgraded high definition graphics and touch screen controls. Both the iOS and Android versions of the game will be priced at $5 through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Vice City is still among the most well-regarded Grand Theft Auto titles. In it, players take on the role of Tommy Vercetti and work their way up the tower of crime syndicates in a fictional city modeled after Miami. There are many references in the game to the movie Scarface, and the most pricey real estate in the game is clearly a depiction of Tony Montana’s mansion at the end of Scarface.

Apart from the fun story and gameplay, Vice City featured what could easily be argued is the best soundtrack in any Grand Theft Auto game. The music was an eclectic mix of the best of the 80s, and was often an excuse to just sit inside a vehicle.

The promised new Vice City trailer hasn’t yet been released, but the decade-old trailers below still show off the game (and the music) pretty well.
