Google may finally address one of the most annoying aspects of its Google Messages app, giving users a larger compose box to better handle long messages.
In the current version of Google Messages, the compose box is limited to four lines. This makes for a tedious process when authoring longer messages, forcing the user to scroll up and down to see the whole message, proofread, and make changes.
According to an APK teardown by the fine folks over at Android Authority, Google is finally addressing the issue, giving users the ability to expand the compose box to 12 lines.

As with any APK teardown, the discovered features aren’t guaranteed to make it to production. Hopefully this one does, however, as it would ease a significant pain point for many Android users.
