For those of you who don’t, it’s a memorable moment from Pixar’s “Finding Nemo”, in which Dori the forgetful fish repeats the important address over and over. The film was enormously successful and is still beloved by millions of kids even nine years after its release, which may be why Pixar is talking about making a sequel.
While nothing is finalized yet, original director Andrew Stanton is rumored to have been tapped to helm the new film, and even if he did play a part in the colossal disaster that was “John Carter“, he’s also been involved with almost every other Pixar film, so he knows his stuff. And no one really believes that a sequel to such a successful movie would do badly, do they? Especially when one takes into account what happened with “Toy Story 3”. Sometimes, a long hiatus can be a good thing for the box office.
We may not know any details for a while, but until they emerge, content yourself with watching the original “Finding Nemo” in 3D when it’s re-released in theaters on September 14th.
