Felicia Day, creator of the popular web series The Guild, will host a marathon 12-hour Google+ Hangout on April 1 to support the launch of a new YouTube channel, Geek and Sundry. The Hangout is a subscription drive for the YouTube channel, which will be home to geeky shows hosted by well-known (to the internet) “ceWEBrities”.

Geek & Sundry will launch its premium YouTube channel on April 2 and feature new episodes almost every weekday. The schedule for the channel has been set, and you can catch these shows starting next week:

Sword and Laser – The popular sci-fi and fantasy book club podcast brought to video, hosted by Tom Merritt and Veronica Belmont.
In addition, a show called Written by a Kid will premiere on July 16 and air every Wednesday. The show features sci-fi, fantasy, and horror stories told by children and made into live-action and animated shorts. Also, on Thursday April 5, new, exclusive, extra content from The Guild will premiere on the channel.
