Facebook now has an Open Graph Checklist for application developers developing apps for the Facebook Timeline. The company says that 90% of the app submissions its received have been fully reviewed and responded to (as of this past Thursday). The rest will be reviewed within the next few weeks, it says.
For new submissions, the checklist should help speed up the path to approval. Facebook has a page for the checklist, but I thought a screen cap of the list would kind of bring an infographic-like element to it, so here you go:
On Facebook’s Developer Blog, the company stresses the outlining of concise step-by-step instructions, including an app logo and icon, providing the required info for built-in actions/action properties, and publishing at least one action. The submissions that don’t meet these criteria will not be approved, the company says.
On a related note, Facebook is working with others in the industry to make the mobile app experience better for app developers.
