Unless you’re on a diet, the best food news has arrived. Behold the new Twinkie Burger! All dieters beware. Actually, you dieters might want to get a head start on running in the opposite direction of this sandwich as fast as you can and never look back. But if you can’t resist the call of a burger and you want to take an axe to that Jillian Michaels workout video, we would totally understand.

The PYT restaurant of Philadelphia is responsible for unleashing this beast of a burger. On October 28th, PYT announced that they would be opening their restaurant and their Twinkie Burger would finally be available after prior taste-test runs:

“On 11am this Tuesday morning the Deep-Fried Twinkie Burger will be unleashed on an unsuspecting world and the FIRST 15 ARE FREE.”

The Twinkie Burger creation is everything and more than what it sounds like. Deep-fried Twinkies cap the top and bottom of the burger while crispy strips of bacon and melted cheese rest atop a pork belly patty waiting to be devoured. This combination of immense flavor might just be enough to make Richard Simmons stop running in place. While this dangerous plethora of taste might be too intense for some, many others think the latest burger is Heaven-sent.

The Twinkie Burger is not the only crazy sandwich coming out of the PYT restaurant. Along with other tasty-looking items, the PYT cooks up a long line of diverse burgers from The Doh! Nut (which has chocolate-covered bacon on a glazed donut bun), to a mild-mannered veggie burger called the Calibunga Veggie. Ok, so not everything on the menu will land you on Weight Watchers, but the food temptation is pretty intense.

Many PYT patrons are excited and drooling over the Twinkie Burger. And for those who are not into Twinkies, who knows? Maybe one day PYT will fry up a Ho Ho burger. It’s ok to dream.
