As reported earlier, the Daytona 500 was experiencing a rain delay, and plenty of people were complaining (and rejoicing) on Twitter. Now, they’ve gone ahead and canceled it for the day, and it will run (hopefully) tomorrow at Noon.
In 53 years of the race’s existence, this has never happened. There has never been a cancellation. There have been delays, but not like this. It was already supposed to be a historic race with the addition of Danica Patrick, but it’s already made history for another reason.
Now (at least on my local channel) they’re showing an infomercial for the Time Life Music collection “Country’s Got Heart”.
