hi,
I’m not requesting any correction!
However, I would like to see the actual meaning behind a recurring assertion, namely:
“The expelled members include developers employed by Collabora and allotropia, two companies that together account for roughly 80% of all commits to the LibreOffice codebase. ”
I mean, is this true?
That is, two companies employ coders and their job is to work for Libreoffice?
What I thought so far was:
two companies employed coders to code for their software, Collabora, for instance,
and these coders also worked for Libreoffice, whose code (open source code) they would use, moreover, it would be the basis of their software.
Could you, please, give me ANY short explanation, even a YES or a NO, as to whether the case is what your article asserts? That those two companies “account for roughly 80% of all commits to the LibreOffice codebase”?
**Thanks very much :)**
