Today, Google has announced their second update to their Chrome for iOS app (on both iPhone and iPad). Version 21 / 21.0.1180.80 fixes a few user-reported issues that have been a problem since the launch of the app back in June.

According to the Google Chrome releases blog, here is what the team tackled with the new version:

  • Resolved compatibility issues w. certain websites including Yahoo! Mail
  • Fixes for blank Most Visited page
  • Fixes for issues when logging into some sites

In the blog post, Google says that this is the first update to Chrome for iOS, but they actually released an update a couple of weeks ago. That update gave users the ability to share pages directly from the browser to social networks and email. It also brought more actionable sync sign in error messages and various stability improvements.

Since its launch in June, the Chrome for iOS app has been pretty popular. It shot to the top of the App Store charts just hours after launch.
