Charlize Theron is mean. At least, according to Sister, Sister star Tia Mowry.

Mowry, 36, took her complaints to tabloids after Theron apparently dissed her at a SoulCycle class a few weeks ago.

“She wasn’t very nice to me,” Mowry told In Touch. “I said, ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’”

The fact that Mowry admits to having a “woman crush” on Theron made the exchange even more upsetting.

“I wasn’t over-the-top,” she said. “I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

But an insider said that the interaction gave Theron doubts about her privacy at the popular fitness studio. However, it wasn’t until Mowry shared the story with the press that Theron, 39, became so angry that she demanded that Mowry be banned from the spin classes.

“Charlize came in so pissed off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back,” the insider said. “When the manager refused, Charlize just got angrier and said she’d go to the top to make it happen.”

The insider also shared that Theron told SoulCycle management, “This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers-on in your studio?”

Although Theron has not commented publicly on the incident, Mowry is now saying that the whole thing was “blown out of proportion.”

“I’m obsessed with her, I love her, it was definitely blown out of proportion,” she said. “So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

No word as to whether Mowry will be returning to SoulCycle any time soon.
