Bobby Brown made a comment during a concert in Grand Prairie, Texas on Saturday night, that has led many to believe his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown is no longer in a coma.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was found facedown in the bathtub inside her Roswell, Georgia home on January 31st. She has never regained consciousness.

At his concert, Bobby Brown addressed the crowd. He was a special guest at a Frankie Beverly concert.

“Bobbi is awake,” Bobby Brown said. “She’s watching me.”

The crowd went wild with cheers and applause.

One of Bobby Brown’s family members tells People magazine that Bobbi Kristina Brown isn’t awake.

“As far as I know, there’s been no change,” the family member said. “We’re still hoping and praying that God will perform a miracle. We are leaving it in God’s hands.”

It’s uncertain why Bobby Brown would tell the concert crowd that Bobbi Kristina Brown was awake if she isn’t–unless he intended for people to interpret his words rather than take them literally. He has stayed by his daughter’s hospital bedside since she was discovered unconscious–reportedly by boyfriend Nick Gordon. He made his first public appearance on April 11th in L.A.

“I wanna thank all of y’all for coming out tonight, for supporting me and my family,” Bobby Brown said to the crowd at the Soul Food Festival. “Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now, but I’m giving it to God.”

Do you suppose Bobbi Kristina Brown has truly awoken, or did Bobby Brown misspeak? Do you expect Bobbi Kristina will ever emerge fully awake from her coma?
