Ben Affleck has said in the past that he and Jennifer Lopez still keep in contact. Now that he and Jennifer Garner are history, might he look J Lo up again?
“We don’t have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an email saying, ‘Oh, your movie looks great,'” Ben Affleck said in 2012. “I remember when she got American Idol. I said: ‘This was really smart. Good luck.’ I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She’s put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I’m really pleased to see her successful.”
As for Jennifer Lopez, she has been pretty clear that Ben Affleck was a major chapter in her life.
When Lopez was about to release her book True Love, she spoke with Maria Shriver on the Today show. In the sit-down, Shriver remarked about how quickly Lopez had moved on after splitting with Affleck back in 2004. She was married to Marc Anthony within six months of the split with Affleck.
“Right, you’re absolutely right,” Lopez told Shriver. “It was probably my first big heartbreak, and to have one of my best friends who I’d known for years, who I actually love and did have chemistry with, come into my life and say, ‘I’m here’…”
Why does everyone want Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck to get back together so badly?

So, might there be a shot at seeing Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez together again? Why not ask her best friend Leah Remini?
That’s exactly hat Andy Cohen did on “Watch What Happens Live”
“I really don’t know,” Leah Remini responded. But she also admitted, “Even if I did, I probably wouldn’t [say], because it would be weird for me to comment on people’s lives. But no, not anything that I know of.”
The latest news is that Jennifer Lopez is with Casper, her on-again-off-again boyfriend. But he’s no Ben Affleck. Maybe that old song could get played again?
If Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez get back together, I fully expect an equally dissatisfying Gigli 2
