Ava Phillippe and her mom Reese Witherspoon were photographed together before they headed out for a premiere of Witherspoon’s new film with Sofia Vergara, Hot Pursuit. Ever since the photo hit social media, fans have remarked about how much the mother-daughter duo look alike.

Us Weekly reports that Ava Phillippe accompanied Reese Witherspoon to the premiere, but that it was her stepdad Jim Toth who escorted Witherspoon on the red carpet.

It was on Thursday that Phillippe and Witherspoon were snapped side-by-side in the photo that Reese Witherspoon shared on Instagram.

“Me and my girl (heart emoji) ready for #HotPursuit premiere! @avaphillippe,” Wtherspoon captioned the shot right before the family left for the event at Hollywood’s TLC Chinese Theatre.

It really is uncanny how much the two look a like. Of course Ava Phillippe has added some blue streaks to her beautiful blonde locks–something that Reese Witherspoon–at 39–likely chooses to forgo.
