Atomic wedgies aren’t fun; in fact, they can be quite painful and even harmful if executed correctly. But one Oklahoma man took things a step further just before Christmas, giving his stepfather a fatal version.

33-year old Brad Davis has been arrested for the murder of his stepfather, 58-year old Denver Lee St. Clair, after the December 21st assault in which he pulled St. Clair’s underwear up over his head during an altercation. St. Clair had a head wound;.the cause of death has been listed as suffocation and blunt force trauma.

“I’d never seen this before, but when we first looked at our victim seeing the waistband of his underwear was around his neck,” Sheriff Mike Booth said.

Davis told police his stepfather “jumped him” when he arrived at his home; however, investigators say Davis was drinking with his stepfather when St. Clair made a derogatory comment about Davis’ mother. Davis says his stepfather swung first and that he was simply defending himself, but police say they believe he altered the crime scene after he called 911 to back up his story.

“We continued our investigation and uncovered evidence that led us to believe that this was more than just a fight,” said Booth.
