Apple’s autonomous driving efforts are one of the company’s worst kept secrets. The company has been rumored to be working on the Apple Car, code-named “Project Titan,” for years.
According to macReports, Apple had 201 test drivers as recently as March, but has cut the number to 145. Over the last couple of years, Apple’s number of AV test drivers has gone up and down, with the current number still on the higher end of the range.
