Anna Duggar has gone to hell and back these past few months. While she was pregnant with her and hubby Josh Duggar’s fourth child, he was outed for having two accounts on the cheater’s website Ashley Madison. Shortly thereafter he admitted to Anna Duggar that he not only has an addiction to pornography, but cheated on her as well.

Shortly after Josh left Arkansas for a Christian rehab called Reformers Unanimous, Anna Duggar moved with their children to Florida, to stay with her parents for a while. Her siblings have been urging her to divorce Josh Duggar.

Now it seems Anna’s mother-in-law, 19 Kids and Counting matriarch Michelle Duggar, has doled out a huge insult to her already-hurting daughter-in-law.

It was via Michelle Duggar’s blog that she appears to have slammed Anna Duggar. While sharing advice to young couples on sex and marriage, she issued the following admonishment.

“You’ve got to remember this: Anyone can iron Jim Bob’s shirt, anybody can make lunch for him. He can get his lunch somewhere else. But you are the only one who can meet that special need he has in his life for intimacy. You’re it. You’re the only one… And so be available, and not just available, but be joyfully available for him. Smile and be willing to say, ‘Yes, sweetie I am here for you,’ no matter what, even though you may be exhausted and big pregnant and you may not feel like he feels. ‘I’m still here for you and I’m going to meet that need because I know it’s a need for you,’” Michelle Duggar writes.

Josh Duggar cheated on Anna while she was pregnant with their fourth child. He did so with at least two porn stars. Anna Duggar isn’t just feeling the pain of a cheating husband, she’s likely wondering if he gave her any STDs, too.

The 19 Kids and Counting family believe in a kind of Christianity of which the husband is the head of the household, the home, and the wife and children, too. That wife is expected to satisfy the husband’s needs.

If Michelle Duggar truly expects Anna Duggar to come back home and satisfy Josh Duggar’s needs when he gets out of rehab, then she needs to have her head examined.

Anna Duggar needs to start a new life for herself with her children–away from Josh Duggar and his family, too.

If the Duggar family can’t support Anna Duggar as the mother of their grandchildren, despite her present relationship with their son, then maybe Anna would be better off without them.

How sad for Anna Duggar and her children that her in-laws and their grandparents feel this way.
