Earlier this month, Google announced that it had surpassd 10 billion downloads from the Android Market. To celebrate this, they began 10 days of 10 cent apps. The company has been offering a number of premium apps that would normally cost at least 99 cents, for 10 cents a piece.
Some of the apps included: Asphalt 6 HD, Color & Draw for Kids, Endomondo Sports Tracker Pro, Fieldrunners HD, Great Little War Game, Minecraft, Paper Camera, Sketchbook Mobile, Soundhound Infinity and Swiftkey X.
Well, today is the last day Google is offering 10 cent apps, so if you are an Android user, you might want to peruse the list. There are twelve apps being offered today. They include:
1. Camera Zoom FX
2. Shine Runner
3. TileStorm HD
4. Star Chart
5. Talking Ben the Dog
6. Apparatus
7. Color & Draw for kids
8. Hyper Jump
9. Sentinel 3: Homeworld
10. Majesty: Fantastic Kingdom Sim
11. Puffle Launch
12. Heavy Gunner 3D
I’d be interested to know how much app downloads increased for the developers involved with the promotion. Hopefully Google will release some numbers on that soon. I’m guessing that that it’s been a pretty good ten days for them.
The Android Market is also currently offering 100 holiday songs for 25 cents a piece.
