Actress Amanda Bynes has been formally charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after her arrest in April. Bynes was pulled over in L.A. after she allegedly hit a police car while changing lanes.

Bynes says she doesn’t drink and was perfectly sober throughout the ordeal, and because she refused to take a chemical test, police can’t determine what exactly she was under the influence of, if anything. She did reportedly submit to a breathalyzer test, which her father says she blew a zero on.

“She was not drunk,” Rick Bynes said. “I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn’t have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn’t drink.”

There have been a string of automobile mishaps for Bynes just since the arrest, including reported hit-and-runs and a strange, exaggeratedly slow 3-point turn witnessed in L.A. The actress hasn’t been faulted for any of those incidents, however, and took to Twitter to call out the rumors.
